Order Shipping

Shipping Cost

Complete your order with the most appropriate shipping option and cost.

Shipping is the cost of moving your order to a delivery address of your choice. Calculating shipping, the product’s dimensions and weight, as well as the address, are taken into consideration. A service provider performs the delivery. Bean Rush Coffees or a courier company can be the provider.

This web site connects to the shipping company and retrieves its cost for your delivery. This is done on the check-out page based on your delivery address and the size of your shipment.

Checkout Fields to Complete

On the checkout page, two address types are presented. The Billing Address and an optional Delivery Address. Toggle the check-box is toggled to deactivate the Delivery Address (to be the same as the Billing Address ) so that this singular address functions as the only address for you.

The shipping service provider, e.g. The Courier Guy provides a service to this web site. An Internet call, when the Suburb field (A) of the Delivery Address is completed, is made to the shipping cost table. Together with the package dimensions and weight, the address is used to retrieve the correct shipping fee options, as depicted in (C) on the image.

NOTE: Only one address links its Suburb field the shipping company. By default, it is the Deliver Address, unless you opted to deselect the check-box (B). Then the Billing Address becomes both Billing and Shipping in the context.

The shipping options, in this case, by The Courier Guy, depicted in C on the picture below, provide several options that may be chosen. To choose the most appropriate one, based on your shipping requirements, is simply to select the corresponding radio-button, as shown in (C) on the picture.

Physical Shipment

The shipping is consequently done by the shipping service provider in accordance with their service levels. A waybill number is used to track the parcel. The Courier Guy provides a tracking service, Track and Trace.

NOTE: By default, parcels are not insured and liability transfers to the buyer once the parcel is handed over to the shipping service provider. Insurance is optional but has to be arranged and paid for in addition to the quoted shipping cost.

Sub-roast Your Coffee with Us

In-out Sourcingsub-roasting

Think Brand and Servicing your Customers

Sub-roast Your Coffee with Us while you build your brand to be your identity.  What do you want people to see when they assess the collection of your products? If your brand is a person, what would this person be like?  Much of a brand lies in the visual appreciation.  However, this needs to be built on who you think you are expressed in your strategy and core value system.  The fundamental questions, what do you wish to achieve, how and by what standards, and to satisfy who or what need in the most efficient manner possible and still turn a profit.

Essential Questions

You need to step up to stand out.  Your brand is your calling card.  Soar with your strengths.

  1. Where in the market do you see yourself positioned?
  2. Why did you start the business?
  3. What beliefs and values are important to you?
  4. What differentiates you from Tom, Dick, and Harry?
  5. If you could describe your brand in three words, what would they be?
  6. What are the three words by which you would like your customers to describe you?

A brand embodies things like your logo, packaging, web design, social media graphics, business cards, and the uniforms employees wear.  Product packaging brandishes the brand identity in the logo, graphics, colours, and slogans.  Your brand identity is what sets you apart from the endless sea of competitors and shows your customers who you are and what they can expect from working with you. It’s crucial that you nail your brand identity and create designs that accurately portray who you are to your customers if you want your brand to be perceived in a positive light.

Do It All Yourself?

Working out a brand identity and designing a style guide to keep it consistent takes a lot of time and effort.  The brand is the insignia of the product. Brands are built through consumer perceptions (consumers make them), but products are made by companies.  Products can be copied and replaced but brands persist and are unique.  Products can become obsolete, but brands may persist.  Brands become meaningful over time, but products are instantly meaningful.  A product is what you need but a brand is what you want.

A successful business brand requires time an much devotion.  A product can be created instantly, but selling it under a brand takes time and it takes a tribe of consumers.  Considering your business, doing everything yourself, is an alluring thought.  Many of us having started in the coffee industry has done so through love by hobby.  Building this into a success takes more.  The big names in the coffee society in South Africa today are known by their brand.  The brand maketh the man as they say.

Sub-contract?

To ensure your success you need opportunity, time, and money.  Without luck in this mix, you may experience a degree of success, but luck is that unobtainable instance commodity that has propelled to many into a known brand.  Opportunity and luck have a co-dependency, time is a luxury, and money, well it’s a necessity.  Building your brand should be your primary consideration and focus.

The product, given the right specification and trust in the manufacturer, is the fodder of the brand.  Sub-contracting makes perfect sense if this is your approach.  Time is that luxury that yo may capitalise on in an outsourcing model.  Focus on the brand by using the surplus time could mean a shorter road to success and brand recognition.

Who is Bean Rush Coffees

Certificate Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee

Coffee Love

My love for coffee was kindled in Melbourne Australia.  I can’t say that Melbourne has the best cafes in the world.  Who has been everywhere to know?  However, one could pick a spot along the Yarra and be in the vibe of the city’s young, small-business operated, personal coffee world.  It’s loaded with start-up energy and you can get stuck in stacks of coffee choices.

I liked it so much that I completed a TAFE barista qualification in 2004.  Making and serving espresso-based coffees.  Since then coffee experimented its way into my life.  The business Bean Rush Coffees opened its eyes to a waiting world.

The Coffee Industry

It is an industry that proffers many a coffee aficionado.    Everyone has an opinion and they know what they want.  This is in the same vein the boon of being in the coffee industry, but also the bane.

Whatever coffee is to you, it is an exiting beverage, attracting so much attention and energy.  Drunk in most global cities and offices.  Made with gusto and ritual.  Made in accordance with unknowable scientific methods involving beans from mysterious origins and cultivars.  People of all creeds congregate to celebrate in verbiage over this humble drink from the Eastern parts of Africa.

Bean Rush Coffees

Who is Bean Rush Coffees?  My Melbourne impressions flow into each cup.  Ranging that melange of Greek and Italian influence of city’s coffee culture.  Do you like your espresso, macchiato, flat-white, long-black, latte, or would you like a ristretto?  Take a tram up Queen-street back to the office on Little-Collins, cup in hand, sipping a little Melbourne on a crisp, drizzling, winters-morning, watching the cars make a hook-turn at some of the busy intersections.

Like the gold rush on Johannesburg’s Witwatersrand, the Bean Rush came to South Africa in the early 2000s and the wave has gained momentum of proportion since.

Cape Town

To me, Cape Town is the South African coffee equivalent of Melbourne Australia.  The culture is tangible in served coffee and its converting South Africa into socially engaging spirits with the common coffee commodity.  Answering: who is Bean Rush Coffees…

Bean Rush Coffees is a sub-component of this coffee machine and is contributing to the pleasure of the bean and the spirit of the rush.v
